Metro "Moving Transit Forward" Public Meetings PDF Print E-mail

Date: December 7-18, 2009

Location: Various Locations

Description: Metro Transit wants to hear from you on the future transit needs for the St. Louis Metropolitan region.  Currently, we are undergoing a planning process, called "Moving Transit Forward," that will determine immediate (1-5 years), short-term (5-10 years), and long-term (10-30 years) transit investments that address service restoration, enhancement, growth, and expansion.  If you care about transit and its role in creating jobs, generating new development projects, and improving our region's quality of life, then you should get involved in "Moving Transit Forward."

"Fighting the drug crime here was met with moderate success until RHCDA partnered with us to buy out 93 units of problem properties; now the drug activity has been eradicated...it was a good place to live, now Forest Park Southeast is a great place to live."

- Phil Minden, Resident, Forest Park Southeast Neighborhood
