Before relocating to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Gregory A. Rodewald served as managing member/principal for Preservation Resources, L.L.C.; a full service community development and affordable housing consulting firm located in Blue Springs, Missouri. Mr. Rodewald has served in that capacity for four and one-half years. Currently he is in process of “winding down” the business operations and affairs of that company.

Prior to forming Preservation Resources, L.L.C., Mr. Rodewald was a Sr. Multifamily and Tax Exempt Bond Underwriter/Housing Program Loan Administrator for the Missouri Housing Development Commission (MHDC); one of the premiere State Housing Finance Agency’s in the United States. This is evidenced by the fact that MHDC is one of only four State HFAs that maintain an AA+ Issuer Credit Rating (ICR) from Standard and Poor’s. He was responsible for the underwriting of multifamily and single family developments utilizing multiple funding sources; with expertise in HOME, CDBG, LIHTC, HRTC, HOPE VI and Tax Exempt Bond financing. He has vast experience in the underwriting of HUD 236 de-couplings, 221(d)(4)s, 202/811 and Section 542 Risk Sharing loans. He also has years of experience in RD 502, RD 515 and RD 538 programs.

Previously, he served as Director of Economic Development for the City of Concordia, Missouri, where he developed and implemented strategies designed to improve not only the business climate, but ultimately the quality of life of its residents.  The first full year of strategy implementation resulted in over $28 million dollars of new capital investment in the community; including over $3 million dollars in affordable housing related activities. New capital investment resulted in over 100 new jobs.

Prior to his move to Concordia, Mr. Rodewald served as a Risk Management Consultant III for Neighborhood Reinvestment Corporation, Washington D.C., founder of the NeighborWorks® Network; a network of over 300 non-profit housing organizations throughout the United States. Primary focus involved identifying and mitigating risk in network organizations’ multifamily and single family developments and property and asset management operations. He has also served as Vice President of Lockwood Development Company, Inc.; a St. Louis based full-service affordable housing development firm and Director of Economic and Community Development for the City of Appleton City, Missouri and WCM Community Development Corporation respectively.

Mr. Rodewald is a magna cum laude graduate of Central Missouri State University with Bachelor of Science Degrees in Geography and Political Science. Mr. Rodewald also attended Southern Illinois University School of Graduate Studies where he maintained a 4.0 GPA. He has successfully passed both the Missouri Real Estate Salesperson and Missouri Real Estate Broker courses/examinations, and has successfully completed all necessary requirements and examinations and holds the Housing Development Finance Professional (HDFP), Certified Housing Asset Manager (CHAM), and the Non-Profit Housing Management Specialist (NHMS) designations.

"It is safe to say that RHCDA has helped save several St. Louis neighborhoods by taking on financially troubled housing, developed and previously managed by others.  RHCDA has really made a difference to the city and to investors who are interested in helping to preserve and develop housing in the city."
